We are currently looking for an experienced Web Manager for an exciting consulting assignment with a leading brand in the automotive industry, based in Stockholm. The assignment starts in August and lasts for 6 months on a full-time basis at the client's premises.
About the role:
You will own four websites and be responsible for ensuring they maintain high quality, drive business results, and develop in line with the company's goals. The role combines strategic responsibility with operational work and suits you if you are accustomed to holding the whole picture together, from content and CMS publishing to roadmap, analysis, and requirement specification for external parties.
You will step into an organization where the web work needs to be structured. The focus is not primarily on producing new material, but on being able to assess the current situation, identify what needs to change, and then actually ensure that things move in the right direction. In parallel, you will drive and deliver a limited number of prioritized initiatives during the assignment period.
You will be part of the Marketing and Communications department and report to the Head of Marketing.
What you will do:
- Responsible for the roadmap, structure, navigation, functionality, SEO, and overall user experience on the company's four websites.
- Coordinate operations, updates, and release plans with IT and external partners.
- Evaluate and specify requirements for external agencies and development teams, including budget, timeline, and quality assurance.
- Project manage web-related initiatives from brief to launch.
- Facilitate collaboration between Marketing, IT, Design, Product Owners, and Management.
- Create insight reports and dashboards in GA4, initiate and follow up on A/B tests and optimization initiatives.
- Publish and quality-assure content in the CMS according to brand guidelines, tone of voice, and legal requirements including GDPR.
- Define KPIs, ways of working, processes, and a governance model for web work.
Who you are:
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and do not need to wait for all puzzle pieces to be in place before getting started. You are curious, analytical, and accustomed to moving between strategic and operational web work without losing momentum. At the same time, you are just as comfortable listening and understanding others' needs as you are driving and delivering results.
We see that you have:
- At least 5 years of experience in web work in an operational role with strategic responsibility.
- Experience in specifying requirements for external agencies and development teams.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to drive initiatives to actual launch.
- Good understanding of web analytics and data-driven optimization, with knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and SEO.
- Documented knowledge and experience of GDPR in a web context.
- Good experience working in a CMS, preferably Sitecore or similar.
- Good experience working with analytics tools (Google Analytics/GA4).
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop or InDesign for simpler image adjustments.
- Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
Meritorious qualifications:
- Concrete experience in structuring web work that has previously been inefficient.
- Experience with agency procurement or partner changes.
- Knowledge of GEO (Geographic Search Optimization) and how AI search affects visibility.
- Basic HTML/CSS.
- Experience with UX tools and CRO.
- Background from an industry with a complex product structure.
Practical conditions
- Consulting assignment on a full-time basis via Digitalenta.
- Location: Stockholm, on-site at the client.
- Start: August 2026.
- Duration: 6 months.
The Assignment For this assignment, you will be employed as a consultant at Digitalenta. We offer all our consultants a comprehensive wellness allowance, insurance, favorable pension savings, consultant meetings, and of course, an engaged consultant manager who is available to you throughout the employment period.
